3D Printing Specialist
We are currently seeking a 3D Printing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art 3D printer, as well as responsible for the design and production of our large-scale objects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of 3D printing technology and be able to work collaboratively with our design team to create custom, high-quality products for our clients.
We seek an individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment, takes a proactive approach to their work, and is comfortable tackling tasks and topics outside their expertise. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to push themselves out of their comfort zone and work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain large-scale (4/5/6 meters) 3D Printer to produce large-scale objects from various plastics.

Preparing files for 3D printing. Solid/parametric modelling.

Collaborate with the design team to create custom products for clients.

Research and implement new 3D printing technologies and techniques.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:

Academic background in engineering.

2+ years of experience in 3D printing technology and operation (preferable large-scale 3D printing)

Excellent knowledge of CAD tools for solid/parametric modelling, in particular, Catia, Fusion360

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact on the world.

The role requires identifying and resolving technical issues and other challenges that may arise during the production process. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and be adept at finding solutions to various problems.

The ideal candidate should have strong organizational, self-management, and time-management skills. They should be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage their workload efficiently, and ensure that projects are completed within established timelines.
